The Center for Advanced Studies and Technology (CAST) is a multidisciplinary infrastructure that hosts more than 16 selected research teams led by scientists belonging to different Ud’A departments, supported by more than 9 state of the art facilities. CAST aims at creating a stimulating, research-oriented academic environment, primarily designed to promote talent, international collaborations, and competitive projects. CAST researchers are also encouraged to offer clinical and/or diagnostic services based on cutting-edge technology and provide expert advise and technology transfer to non-academic stakeholders.
